Why the WashingtonExec Pinnacle Awards?

WashingtonExec’s digital magazine is putting federal IT buzz words du jour to the test and covering both small and large progress for federal workforce and, at the end of the day, the US taxpayer. We are different from other GovCon award ceremonies in that we are interested in the full-lifecycle of an executive’s story or client project. This ceremony is not solely based on rewarding revenue generation, CEO only, or other arbitrary accolades. Leveraging new or previously used technology to bring tangible progress to the end-user and customer is just one example of a successful nomination.

Purpose of the Luncheon:

WashingtonExec is doing what it does best, highlighting executives and businesses doing well, saving money, and fostering innovation for the U.S. federal client in and across the National Capital Region.

The Inaugural WashingtonExec Pinnacle Awards

WashingtonExec publishes a daily digital magazine that covers multi-million-dollar contract award wins, merger and acquisition activity, in-depth features and interviews, corporate citizenship, market and leadership trends, and the leaders behind it all.

We are expanding the WashingtonExec Luminary Award to the broader community.

The WashingtonExec Luminary Award is presented bi-annually to those who showcase true leadership in the face of tough decisions and/or unpopular public opinion.

The award recognizes outstanding decision-making, innovative thinking, and strong convictions, specifically within the broader United States defense community.

In the words of Henry A. Kissinger, “A leader does not deserve the name unless he is willing occasionally to stand alone.”
