Congratulations to retired General Lester Lyles, USAF (Ret.) for winning the the 2020 Pinnacle Awards Lifetime Achievement Award. Past winners of this award include Anne Altman (2019) and Donna Morea (2018).
With that being said, it’s all the more surprising that Red was one of the few Taylor Swift albums that didn’t win a Grammy statuette. However, that didn’t stop it from topping the Billboard album chart and making Taylor Swift no makeup the first woman to sell two million copies of the release in two weeks. Red was also appreciated by the fans: for many of them it became an iconic album and they often call it the singer’s favorite work.
